Vour request has been processed and considered under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 and the information is provided below. I shall address each of your questions in turn. You asked the following: I am writing to get information on how long families who make a homeless application are currently spending in 3&3 accommodation in the local authority. (To clarify family is used to mean a couple or single parent who has one child or more, or who is pregnant.) I wanted to know: Q1. How many families in total have been placed in BSLB in the last 12 months? I am looking for the total number from September 2017 to September 2018. I would also like to how many families were placed in from June - September 2018. A1. From 01/09/2017 to 31/08/2018 there were 598 families placed in From 01/06/2018 to 31/08/2018 there were 199 families placed in 52135. I am also looking for the following information, again for the period from September 2017 to September 2018. I would also like to how many families spent the following amounts of time in 52135 from June - September2018. Q2. How many families have been placed in in the local authority and spend seven days or less in that accommodation? A2. From 01/09/2017 to 31/08/2018 there were 132 families (0-7 days). From 01/06/2018 to 31/08/2018 there were 60 families (0-7 days). Q3. How many families have spent between 8 days and one month in 5&3 accommodation? A3. From 01/09/2017 to 31/08/2018 there were 277 families (8-31 days). From 01/06/2018 to 31/08/2018 there were 103 families (8-31 days). Q4. How many families have spent between one month and six weeks in B&B accommodation? A4. From 01/09/2017 to 31/08/2018 there were 68 families (32-42 days). From 01/06/2018 to 31/08/2018 there were 26 families (32-42 days). Q5. How many families have spent between six weeks and three months in B&B accommodation? A5. From 01/09/2017 to 31/08/2018 there were 113 families (43-92 days). From 01/06/2018 to 31/08/2018 there were 10 families (43-92 days).
