In response to the request by the Secretary of Defense to provide support for the 2025 Presidential
Inauguration and security for pre/post Inaugural activities across the National Capital Region,
pursuant to Section 27-16 of the General Statutes of Connecticut, I authorize you to call up and
‘order out a sufficient force comprised of members of the Connecticut National Guard to perform
Service outside the state under the authority of Tite 32, Section S02(1)(2), United Stats Code.
