Our Phone Developer Program Agreements require thatthe only mechanism for unlocking or distributing features and functionality in applications is through the App Store. If developers were to use an alternate mechanism for enabling additional features or functionality in their applications. such a via Paypal, they would be in violation of ur developer progra tems aud we would not be abe to distribute those applications in the App Store I Paypal were to announce a mechanis fo iPhone developers that helps then to enable features or functionality of iPhone applications with payments handled by Paypal. we would need to communicate with our developers, telling them that such use would be a violation of the iPhone Developer Agreement terms. I hope that does not become the case. If you would like to have someone discuss this matter further, they can contact Ron Okamoto, Apple’s VP of Worldwide Developer Programs. ‘Thanks, Philip Schiller PX-0047.1 CONFIDENTIAL APL.APPSTORE_ 00318970
