CONSULTING SERVICE CONTRACT THIS AGREEMENT MADE IN DUPLICATE this day of we/L 2012 BETWEEN 13$ Ministry of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport (Hereinafter referred to as the ''Ministry'') Stephen Johnson S. J. Research Services 2246 Cameron Street Regina, Saskatchewan S4T 2V8 (Hereinafter referred to as the "Consultant") THE PARTIES HERETO AGREE AS FOLLOWS: APPOINTMENT AND SERVICES The Ministry is contracting with the Consultant, subject to the terms and conditions is services for the Ministry as described in 2.1 The Consultant shall provide the services in accordance with this Agreement during the period commencing March 12, 2012 a nd ending on March 31, 2012. PAYMENT 3.1 The Ministry shall pay the Consultant not in excess of $5,000 dispersed after the completion of services and upon receipt of an invoice. 3.2 The parties agree that the Ministry is not required to pay Goods and Services Tax. TERMINATION 4.1 Either party may terminate this Agreement without notice for just cause. 4.2 Either party may terminate this Agreement without reason or just cause by giving 5 days notice in writing of intention to terminate. 4.3 Should either party terminate this agreement, the Consultant will be paid for services performed in accordance with paragraph . PROPERTY RIGHTS AND DOCUMENT TRANSMITTAL 5.2 All documents, information, working papers or other material, in any form, produced or prepared by the Consultant pursuant to this Agreement shall be the property of the Ministry. At the expiration of this Agreement pursuant to paragraph or at its tennination pursuant to paragraph 4, the Consultant shall deliver immediately to the Ministry all documents, information, working papers or other material in his possession. CONFIDENTIALITY 6.2 The Consultant will treat as confidential any information supplied to, obtained by, or which comes to the knowledge of the Consultant as the direct or indirect result of canying out his obligations under this Agreement and will not, without the prior written consent of the Ministry, publish, release, disclose or permit to be published, released or disclosed any such information either before or after the expiration or termination of this Agreement. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Agreement, the parties agree that the Agreement is subject to the terms and conditions of 1722 Freedom of Information and Protection of Pm' vacy A ct. Perform data analysis of Film Employment Tax Credit Economic Model to identify: a. 3 -- 5 defensible indicators suggesting a downward trend; b. 3 - 5 defensible indicators suggesting a positive impact; and c. Conclusions that can be drawn fiom the above analysis. 2. Provide rationale as to how the findings were detennined. 3. Create an easily understood narrative explaining the above findings. 4. Deliver the above work by Wednesday March 14, 2012.
