Work is subject to change due to weather conditions. Providence Road Closure Providence Road will be closed at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22 and remain closed until the work is completed. It is expected that the work will be completed sometime during the day on Saturday, February 23. Traffic will be rerouted around this area on Garth Ave. and 5th Street. (See Attached Map.) Restricted Areas Restricted Areas Public Housing Residents are asked to avoid the area during this time for their own safety. The map at the right indicates the areas that will be closed off and restricted from access for Public Housing Residents and the general public. Those Public Housing Residents living in the restricted area will be able to access their homes but are asked to avoid the area along Providence Road if at all possible. Parking Restricted on Boone Drive Public Housing Residents will be required to move their vehicles from the lower half of the parking lot on Boone Drive next to the J.W. "Blind" Boone Community Center. The lower half of the parking lot will be closed at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22 until the work is completed. Public Housing Residents are asked to park in the parking lot at the CHA Administration Building. The J.W. "Blind" Boone Community Center will also be closed at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22. CHA Safety Department CHA Safety Officers will be on duty to ensure the safety of all Public Housing Residents. The number to the CHA Safety Department is (573) 449-1991. Public Viewing Area A public viewing area will be set up on Park Avenue, south of the J.W. "Blind" Boone Community Center.
