This Motion is made pursuant to the provisions of T.C.A. ?24-1-208, Rule 45.07(l) of the Tennessee Rules of Civil Procedure and Rule 26.03 of the Tennessee Rules of Civil Procedure. The Motion to quash, strike and disallow the subpoena duces tecum is appropriate because it, by its terms, its intent and its effect seeks to violate the privilege granted to journalists under T.C.A. ?24-1-208. The subpoena is further objectionable because it seeks to annoy, embarrass, oppress, unduly burden and cause undue and unnecessary expense upon the moving parties.
