From: John Gill [John.Gil1@knoxcounty.org] sent: wednesday, March 6:20 PM To: Ben whitehouse Subject: FN: State v. Jayson Bailey: Stipulation of TBI file . Ben--th1s is apparently what the judge is talking about. He sent out an email today.at noon stating as follows: . "please be advised that the Court will address the TBI file on Friday at 12:00 in Division I Courtroom." The email went to- all lawyers in the Chr:lstianpNewsom cases and the lawyer in the Jason Bailey case. So we don't have any idea what it is all about. We filed the stipulation last week. It is essentially the same stipulation as the parties agreed to in the hearings on _wheth?r to grant new trial. _:ln Christian-Newsom, except we included safe guards against the ?judge not giving us a chance to put on evidence after his rulings on and relevance before he issues h:ls_opinion. That what he did last time. Blackwood hates the New Sentinel and I fear he is playing fast and loose with off the record emails and other communications he states are to avoid the newspaper from knowing. Below is . an editorial from this Sunday and a story last week that may be related to the setting on I i Friday. Please not in the article I have annotated in italics. This reporter typically I decides what the story is and then ignores all information to the contrary and is . particularly disliked by Blackwood.
