i write to correct a statement I made on April 26, 2017.in the Standing Committee on Crown and Central
Agencies. 

In estimates you asked 'rfthere had been any work conducted on the part of SaskTel on ?how a deal

would be structured to provide Opportunities for a minority shareholder to purchase up to 49 percent of

. the corporation but at the same time working to shield it from federal tax implications?? My answer to
this was 

That answer was not correct; there has been some preliminary work done by SaskTel on this front. I
apologize for the confusion.
