ef this metien the State says that:

Intentienal er Knewng Murder fer an alleged effense that an August 19, 2015 in Sane,

Maine, ?r'erl-t Ceunty.

2. At the seene ef the alleged murder the defendant was asked by witnesses whe

re spended tn the seene wh}r she had attaeked the 1Itietim. The defendant respended te these
witnesses that she was eff her medieatiens and that the vietim had leaked at her funny.
3. The State antieipates, based upen the defendant?s assertiens at the seene, that ene

ef the liker issues in this ease will be whether at the time ef the eiTense the defendant was

engaging in either intentienal er knendng eendnet as de?ned by the Maine Criminal Cede1r er the

extent te which she had a serieus mental ennditien that caused her te be unable tn appreelate the

wreng?llness ef her eenduet.

 

 

4. An evaluation pursuant to 15 MRS. to include competeney, criminal

responsibility and abnormal condition of mind is appropriate.

5. The opinion of the examiner as related to criminal responsible and abnormal

condition of the mind may be impounded until released by the Court.

15. In light of the foregoing there is eause for the Court to Drder that the defendant he
examined by the State Forensie Serxiee pursuant to 15 MRS. 

WHEREFDRE. for the foregoing reasons of law and fact the State asks that this
Honorable Court may grant its motion for an evaluation of the defendant?s state of mind in
aeeordanee with 15 MRS. -D and that the opinion of the examiner be impounded until

released by the Court. The State further prays that it may he granted such other and ?irther relief
