BEFORE ME, the undersigned authority, on this day personally appeared the undersigned affiant who, after
being duly sworn by me, on oath stated: My name is MiChael Ye?c #7178

and I am a peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas County, Texas. I, the affiant, have good reason and

do believe that on or about the 11L day of AuguSt 20 15

Affiant?s belief is based upon the following facts and information which Affiant received from:


Affiant?s personal investigation of this alleged offense.

 

a fellow peace officer of the City of Dallas, Dallas
County, Texas, who personally participated in the investigation of this alleged offense,
providing this information to Affiant, and whose information Affiant believes to be credible.

On August 19, 2015, at approximately 2:10 AM Dallas Police responded to a call of shots ?red with a man down

at 1625 Regal Row, which is a Motel 6. Upon their arrival, of?cers observed a man, later tentitively identifed as

Jose Rubiel Aguilar-Hernandez, shot to death on the second story landing of the motel. Witnesses observed a latin

ale wearing a white polo style shirt and blue jeans walking away from the area of gun?re carrying a gun. From
at description the hotel manager believed the suspect to be a customer that he had spoken with immediately
rior to the offense. The hotel manager identi?ed the man as Juan Miguel Andrade who had checked in a few
days prior using his Texas ID. A family member noti?ed police that Suspect Andrade had checked into another
otel. Dallas Police responded to this location and took Andrade into custody for an outstanding warrant out of
alias County. Andrade was transported to the CAPERS of?ce where he was interviewed. Suspect Andrade was
cad his Miranda Warning and agreed to speak with detectives. Andrade stated that he shot and killed
omplainant Aguilar-Hemandez with a .45 caliber handgun. .45 caliber cartridges were found at the crime scene.

Suspect Andrade then directed detectives to the location where he discarded the gun. A .45 caliber handgun was
irecovered at that location.
