Re: Suspension Notice for Grant No. 14-621103
Dear Ms. Eaglin:
This written notice is to inform Impact Family Center that the Illinois Department of Commerce
and Economic Opportunity ("DCEO") is suspending Grant Number 14-621103 ("Agreement"), effective
immediately, pursuant to Section 5.5(A) of the Agreement. Although Section 5.5(A) allows DCEO to
terminate the Agreement, DCEO is merely suspending it at this time. DCEO, however, reserves the right
to terminate the Agreement in the future. This suspension requires that Impact Family Center
immediately cease incurring additional obligations, costs or spending any further grant funds until
further notice. Moreover, to the extent Impact Family Center already has obligated grant funds,
the terms of the Agreement require Impact Family Center to use all efforts to cancel those
obligations.
In addition, Impact Family Cen er is required to submit a financial expense report by April 14,
2015 detailing all grantee expe diturns througli the date of this letter Rlease submit the financial expense
report to your grant manager.
Through this letter, DCED is not wa1vm0, but is expressly reserving its rights under the
Agreement to pursue any and al legal remedies available to it, including, but not limited to, recovery of
grant funds if DCEO determines that Impact Family Center has failed to comply with any of the terms
