INFORMATION

The Circuit Attorney of the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, upon information and belief, charges that:
Count I
The defendant, Dorian Johnson, in violation of Section 575.150, RSMo, committed the class A misdemeanor
of interfering with a lawful stop or detention, punishable upon conviction under Sections 558.011 and 560.016, RSMo, in that
on or between May 6, 2015 at 3:08 PM and May 6, 2015 at 3:25 PM, in the City of St. Louis, State of Missouri, N.S., law
enforcement officer, was attempting to make a lawful stop or detention of Demonte Johnson, and the defendant Dorian Johnson
knew or reasonably should have known that the officers was making a lawful stop or detention, and, for the purpose of
preventing the officers from effecting the stop or detention, interfered with the stop or detention of Demonte Johnson by using
or threatening the use of violence, physical force or physical interference.

The facts that form the basis for this information and belief are contained in the attached statement(s) of facts, made
a part hereof and submitted as a basis upon which this court may find the existence of probable cause.
Wherefore, the Circuit Attorney prays that an arrest warrant be issued as provided by law.

 PROBABLE CAUSE STATEMENT

DATE: May 7, 2015
I, E.B., knowing that false statements on this form are punishable by law, state that the facts contained herein are true.
1. I have probable cause to believe that Dorian J. Johnson, a B M, Age: 23 DOB: XX/XX/92, committed one or more criminal
offense(s).

2. The facts supporting this belief are as follows:
The police received a call for a disturbance concerning a group of individuals in the 5700 block of Acme, possibly armed with
guns or knives. As various officers responded to investigate I noticed a person, later identified as O.M., who had a bulge in
his waistband which I believed could possibly be a concealed gun. As I attempted to investigate whether O.M. had a
concealed weapon, Demonte Johnson grabbed my arm without my consent and yelled at me to remove my hands off of Mr.
O.M., and saying that I was not going to take O.M. to jail. As this took place, PO N.S. grabbed Demonte Johnson’s arm to
get Demonte Johnson away from me. At this point, Dorian Johnson ran toward PO N.S. and demanded that PO N.S. remove
his hands from Demonte Johnson. Dorian Johnson further stated that the police could not arrest any of them. I was then able
to grab Dorian Johnson before he could make contact with PO N.S. Dorian Johnson then struggled with me and tried to pry
himself away from me. I had to physically struggle with Dorian Johnson until I was able take him to the ground and get
handcuffs on him.
3. I believe that the defendant poses a danger to a crime victim, the community, or any other person because the defendant
Dorian Johnson physically struggled with a police officer, interfered with police officers who were attempting to conduct an
investigation.
