Dear Students:

The nation is Seddened about your tragedy. It
is a sad commentary upon our system that youth should
confront youth in this way. The oldsters must take
the biggest share of the blame as indeed, oldsters
running many governments of the world must take the
largest blame for the pitiful state of world affairs.

After the wounds of this terrible confrontation have
healed a little, I hope youth will give more attention
to the oldsters from the precinct committeemen on up.

It is in the precincts that youth should attack by
throwing ever so many of the?rascels"out. The ballot is
the best way.

Many realize, of course, it can take much time to
change much politically. l've worked for functional;
political democracy for at least two decades here. VI

for the first time last monthz The state boss finally
died and I made itJ It can be done.even if I was onlyM I
a proxy for our State Committeewoman. It can be e?in
years now when it took me decades. the political is ripe
for new leadership. Why lose by default in the precincts?
