ENNIS BLUEBONNET TRAILS FESTIVAL, sponsored by Ennis Garden Club- April 18-19, 2015 WHERE: Ennis, Texas is located just 25 minutes south of Dallas, Texas on IH-45, at exit #251B. Ennis has been named the “Official Bluebonnet Trail of Texas” and the “Official Bluebonnet City” by the 1997 State Legislature. The resolution (HCR 116) was signed by Gov. George W. Bush on June 18, 1997. WHEN: April 1-30 – mapped Bluebonnet Trails (check current status and updates on www.visitennis.org)- Ennis Convention and Visitors Bureau is open 7 days a week in April. M-F- 8-5, Sat. 9-5 and Sunday, 11-5..open 8-5 April 18-19Festival weekend (April 18-19) the Ennis CVB is open 8-5. April 18-19, 2015- – Ennis Bluebonnet Trails Festival in downtown Ennis at Pierce Park on NW Main, W. Knox, and N. Dallas St. arts & crafts exhibits, kids’ fun area, bluebonnet souvenirs, free trail maps at Ennis Garden Club booth, food, historic downtown shopping , live entertainment, railroad museum) car show (Sat. only) and concert by Texas Country Artist, James Lann on Saturday and more!
