ELLIS COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE DISTRICT NO. 6
NOTICE OF EMERGENCY MEETING

In compliance with the provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, and Texas Health and Safety Code
775, notice is hereby given of an Emergency Meeting of the Ellis County Emergency Services District No. 6
Commissioners. Due to the unforeseen situation concerning the arrest of several of the District?s Volunteer
Fire?ghters on serious criminal charges, the Presiding Commissioner believes certain personnel changes need to be
considered by the district?s governing board as soon as possible to preserve the integrity of the and
ensure ?re protection service to the citizens of the District.

The meeting will be held at the Of?ce/Fire Station located at 1816 FM 66 in Waxahachie, Texas at 6:30
pm, April 9, 2015.

The following agenda items will be discussed, considered, and action taken as appropriate.

Call to Order, Roll Call, Certi?cation of a Quorum, and Invocation.

Board of Commissioners will enter into an Executive Closed Session pursuant to the Texas
Government Code Section 551.101 to consult with the Boards? attorney concerning not only
privilege matters but also personnel matters identi?ed in the agenda where the Board members seek
the advice of their attorney as privileged communications.

A. Discuss administrative action for the current Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief. (Action
required)

B. Discuss involvement of Fire Marshall to facilitate interim services, if needed. (Action required)

C. Discuss retaining an interim ?re chief, if needed. (Action may be required)
