Thank you for your cooperation as we have continued our work surrounding our waiver
relating to No Child Left Behind.

As you are aware, I have had ongoing discussions with Deputy Secretary John King. I
appreciate his assistance and willingness to delay our submission until after the
completion of the 84?'1 Texas Legislature. Therefore, please accept this letter as our notice
of intent to submit our annual renewal after state lawmakers and leadership have
completed their work.
