Please accept this letter as my resignation as the Chair of the Perth
Amboy Democratic Organization. As per our by-laws, Art IV Sec 2, the
Vice Chair Martin Arroyo "shall be designated as Chairperson  until a
new Chairperson is elected at the next annual meeting". This decision
will insure that our Democratic Party is not compromised by the
allegations against me. Committeewoman Diane Crawford is Martin's
choice for acting vice-chair.

This distraction could only hurt our party and as a loyal Democrat it is
the best thing to do. The reporting in the media was inaccurate as to
what the judge stated in her ruling. In the interest of the party I will
resign.

I would appreciate you contacting Martin Arroyo with regard to the
party line for the Primary Democratic Committee Election. feel that
Martin's loyalty and leadership to the Democratic Party along with the
Committee will be successful in getting our candidates elected.
