CBC News Poll on Discrimination 43- Methodology • This report presents the findings of a national online survey conducted among 1,500 Canadian adults 18yrs+ and is representative of the Canadian population by age, gender and region based on 2011 Census data. • The survey sample included 260 visible minorities*. • The online survey was conducted by Research House on behalf of CBC News from October 22 - 29, 2014. *Visible minority respondents were defined based on self-reported ethnic background; excluding those who identified as White/Caucasian exclusively as well as excluding those who identified as Aboriginal.
